This is exactly the way that I envision my own dream Octagon strawbale house to look. Lloyd Kahn posted this on his amazing blog. I am still trying to find a landowner from whom I can rent-to-own an acre or two to do this project. I so want a house of my own such as the one pictured above. Picture it surrounded by gardens everywhere.
I have studied alternative building methods for many years and a few summers ago I did an internship in Strawbale Building. This picture came from White Oak Farm in Williams, Oregon.
